Acer palmatum dissectum 'Kim' is a beautiful dwarf weeping Japanese maple that originates as a seedling brought from Japan many many years ago by Girardā€™s Nursery who sold this tree to what I believe was "Kim's" parents. This tree was introduced into the nursery trade our good friend Elizabeth at Acer Acres. This tree leafs out a bright orange-red laceleaf Japanese maple, maturing to green with bronze highlights. Fall color can range from orange to red.Ā
