Acer palmatum 'Maymont' is a new weeping selection that has a brick red spring color with green stemming. This gives a nice contrast with the leaves. During the summer, the leaves are green with bronze highlights. Acer palmatum 'Maymont' may reach 4-5 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years with a nice cascading umbrella habit. Fall color on Acer palmatum 'Maymont' is bright yellows to orange.
