'Firefall' is a new selection of Acer sieboldianum that is just now being released. Not to be confused with the weeping red laceleaf by the same name, this Acer sieboldianum is an upright tree with an excellent form. 'Firefall' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years. The leaves are a grey-green in the spring & summer. The fall colors are electric yellows on the older growth, turning to fiery red in the new growth.
