'Schwarzwald' is a unique small growing fir selection. It was found as a witches' broom by GĂŒnter Eschrich near the town of Badenweiler, Germany. 'Schwarzwald' has a tighter habit reaching 1 ft in height by 2 ft in width in 10 years. Our Abies alba 'Schwarzwald' are grafted onto Abies koreana. Being small and compact, 'Schwarzwald' makes a great addition to any small garden or conifer trough.
