Abies beshanzuensis Baishan Fir

Abies beshanzuensis

Baishan Fir

Compact and Slow-Growing
Baishanzu Fir

Zones 7-9

Abies beshanzuesis is one of the rarest conifers in the world. It is rumored that only 6 specimens exist in the wild at the summit of Baishanzu Mountain in China. These Baishanzu Fir were grafted on Abies koreana from an arboretum specimen and were not collected directly from the wild. Abies beshanzuensis was found years ago and specimens have proven difficult to cone, which is believed to be one of the reasons why this species is rare in the wild. Abies beshanzuensis may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years with a conical habit and silver-blue to green needles.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of woody ornamentals, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the woody ornamentals you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
