Abies cilicica is known as the Taurus Fir and can be found naturally in Turkey at elevations from 2,500 ft to 7,000 ft. Abies cilicica has a nice pyramidal form reaching 8 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years.  The needles are green but have a silver cast on the back side of the leaves creating an overall silver glow the tree. As Abies cilicica ages it develops a nice bark feature similar to pines that adds an extra interest to this evergreen. Our Abies cilicica are grafted on to Abies koreana.
