Abies forrestii, commonly known as Forrest's fir, is a slow growing species from Yunnan, China, growing just under a foot per year. The light to darker green needles contrasts so well against purple blue cones on this plant. The bark is a nice smooth gray, becoming more fissured with age. Abies forrestii may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years with a nice pyramidal form.

Our Abies forrestii are grafted on momi fir (abies firma) which makes them more heat tolerant and durable than when grafted on Abies koreana.
