'Baby Buttons’ is a dwarf compact form of vine maple that was introduced by Buchholz Nursery. It was found as a witches' broom on an Acer circinatum. The vine maple is indigenous to the Pacific Northwest. ‘Baby Buttons’ has the same rounded leaf as the species. It also has the same brilliant shades of yellow and orange in the fall. ‘Baby Buttons’ may reach 3 ft in height and width in a compact rounded form.
