'Glen Eugene Handy' is a vigorous upright red matsumurae Japanese maple with maroon color. This color holds well throughout the summer in Oregon where it was selected by Gary Handy. 'Glen Eugene Handy' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years. Fall color is a bright scarlet red.
