'Meuri no fu' is a variegated form of Uri maple from Japan with small hawthorn-like green leaves, splashed in white and pink in the spring. During the summer, the variegation will be more white. In the fall, the white turns to pink, while the green leaves turn yellow to orange. 'Meuri no fu' grows best with protection from the hot afternoon sun reaching 6-7 ft in height and width in 10 years.
Trees were potted from large liners to gallons in this spring and may not have completely filled out their pots.
