'Aka tsuma gaki' is a selection of Japanese maple from Japan with a light purple red border on a chartreuse green leaf in the early spring similar to that of 'Tsuma gaki'. Fall color on 'Aka tsuma gaki' is a bright yellow. We would expect 'Aka tsuma gaki' to reach 8ft in 10 years.
