'Anna's Broom' was a dwarf broom found by a famous nurseryman, Billy Schwartz. Billy, known for finding brooms, often walks around Red Maple Nursery in Lima, Pennsylvania. One day he looked up and spotted a broom he must have walked by many times. He named it 'Anna's Broom' after a good friend. 'Anna's Broom' is a bright red in the spring, fading to green with red new growth during the summer. We expect 'Anna's Broom' to reach 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years.Ā
