This is where this Japanese maple tree gets the name 'Beni otake' which translates as "red bamboo". This classic tree maintains great color even in full sun and can also go in partial shade areas with filtered light. ‘Beni otake’ can reach up to 15 ft in 15 years and adds an exotic element to any landscape.
