Acer palmatum 'Beni shidare' Weeping Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum dissectum 'Beni shidare'

Exceptional Weeping

"Beni shidare" Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Beni shidare’ is a classic red weeping selection from Japan. The name literally translates as bright red and weeping. This is very fitting. In the early spring, ‘Beni shidare’ leafs out as a bright brick-red with green stems and bright green leaf stalks. The contrast is quite nice. During the summer ‘Beni shidare’ turns to a bronze-green color. Fall color on ‘Beni shidare’ can range from bright yellloe to orange. ‘Beni shidare’ is heavily cascading reachin 3-4 ft in height by 5-6 ft in width in 10 years.

Trees were potted from large liners to gallons in the early summer and may not have completely filled out their pots.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
