'Crimson Carole' leafs out in the early spring with a bright red heavily divided leaf over bright green stemming. As the leaf on this Japanese maple matures, this bright red turns to maroon with green veining. This provides the dynamic contrast of green on red for which this tree gets its name of Crimson Carole. This Japanese maple tree will reach 8 ft in height by 6 ft wide in a fairly upright, yet semi-pendulous fashion. Fall colors as seen in the main photo are a bright crimson that is sure to excite any maple connoisseur.
