'Crimson Princess' is a new selection of a dwarf weeping red laceleaf Japanese maple from New Zealand. 'Crimson Princess' leafs out as a brighter cherry red and instead of going to a more maroon color it goes to a lighter shade of red. The overall size is expected to be 3-4 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years, making it smaller than other similar laceleaf types. Fall color is a bright crimson red.
