'Ebony' leafs out in the early spring with deep maroon leaves that are dissected and deeply cut. As the summer progresses, Ebony becomes more of a deep ebony red, where this selection gets its name. By late summer, 'Ebony' begins getting some deep green-red to the leaf. Fall color on Ebony is a bright red to deep maroon. We expect 'Ebony' to reach 4 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years.
