'Monticello Gardens' is a weeping red laceleaf that holds its color extremely well throughout the season. While other laceleaf selections may hold that red color, 'Monticello Gardens' does it with the most cascading habit. Found by a good friend and customer of ours near Columbia, South Carolina, 'Monticello Gardens' has proven to be extremely heat tolerant. We expect 'Monticello Gardens to reach 3-4 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years. Fall color is a brighter red. 'Monticello Gardens' is a great for containers, small spaces in the garden, focal point plantings and is an excellent way to provide great red color in your landscape during spring, summer, and fall!
