'Sekimori' is a very flashy, weeping, green Japanese maple. This green Japanese maple tree is cascading but grows with a very arching habit that exposes the trunk for an appealing look. The early spring color of 'Sekimori' is a vibrant bright green that jumps out of the landscape. During the summer, the color maintains a bright, showy, lush green. From a distance, this weeping Japanese maple almost glows with shades of neon green at dusk.

The color of 'Sekimori' transforms in the fall into one of the greatest bright golden-yellows of any green dissectum. The growth habit of this weeping green Japanese maple is slightly wider than it is tall and around 8-10 ft over time. 'Sekimori' is an amazing tree that grows well in shade or sun and lends itself well to container growing.
