'Dragon's Fire' is one of our favorite new weeping laceleaf Japanese maples. It leafs out in the spring as a bright cherry red, turning to dark burgundy. 'Dragon's Fire' does bronze up during the summer, but the fall color is outstanding. 'Dragon's Fire' starts out with yellows infused with oranges before turning to a brilliant crimson red. The overall habit is a cascading umbrella reaching 3 ft in height by 6 ft in width in 10 years.
