'Eye of the Tiger' is a beautiful weeping laceleaf Japanese maple that was found as a chance seedling from 'Tiger Rose'. The spring flush is a rosy red maturing to an olive green. New growth is a rosy red, with older growth sometimes displaying a rosy blush. Fall color is a bright orange to red. 'Eye of the Tiger' may reach 3 ft by 6 ft in 10 years. Give protection from the hot afternoon sun for best growth.
