Acer palmatum 'Harriet Waldman' Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum

'Harriet Waldman'

Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Harriet Waldman' is a pink and white splotched variegated Japanese maple that was originally selected for a more narrow upright habit. Like ‘Oridono nishiki’ a light, late spring pruning can increase the amount of variegation on the leaves. ‘Harriet Waldman’ may reach 10-12 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years. 'Harriet Waldman’ was found and introduced by Dr. Nick Nickau and named by Phillip Waldman, owner of Roslyn Nursery, after his wife, Harriet. Give ‘Harriet Waldman’ protection from the hot afternoon sun for best variegation.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
