The neat thing about this amoenum Japanese maple selection is that 'Harvest Red' starts its fall color typically about 2 weeks later than other Japanese maples, making it a "late bloomer" of fall color. 'Harvest Red' was found at Mt. Lehman, BC by Paul Reimer. 'Harvest Red' may reach 12-15 ft in height in 20 years.
