'Inazuma' is a bright red Japanese maple with fairly divided leaves. During the summer, 'Inazuma' turns to a darker red in the summer. Fall color is a bright crimson red. 'Inzauma' may reach 8-10 ft in height and with in 10 years. 'Inazuma' is an older cultivar from one of theĀ orininal Japanese maple lists, the Sekihin Binran list in 1882. While 'Inazuma' may be an older cultivar, 'Inazuma' is exceptional and not used enough in today's landscape. The name 'Inazuma' means "Thunder" or "Thunderer".
