'Johnson's Ice Drops' is a dwarf selection that is quite special. In the early spring it develops a creamy "Higasayama-stye" margined variegation. Like 'Higasayama' new growth during the summer is solid green. 'Johnson's Ice Drops' is expected to reach 4-5 ft in height and width in 10 years. Fall color on 'Johnson's Ice Drops' is a bright orange-red. It will provide a unique beauty to any outdoor space, adding seasonal color and structure to landscapes of all sizes.
