Acer palmatum 'Ko chidori' Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum 'Ko chidori'

Ā Rare Small Leaf Dwarf Ko chidori Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Ko chidori' is an excellent dwarf Japanese maple that gives an excellent texture in the landscape with its tiny green leaves. 'Ko chidori' is an excellent tree for patio containers, small spaces, and for bonsai. The upright multi-branching habit makes this tree great for training and shaping. Ko chidori goes to bright red to deep maroon in the fall.Ā  We expect 'Ko chidori' to reach 4-5 feet tall and wide in 10 years.

Trees were potted from large liners to gallons in this spring and may not have completely filled out their pots.

Limited Quantities Available !!Ā As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
