'Koyuki' translates as "little snowflake". This is an excellent way to describe the leaf on this beautiful Japanese maple. The leaf is extremely ornamental, being deeply divided with sharply pointed sub-lobes on the leaf. The leaf itself is a bright cream to light green with deep green reticulated variegation on the leaf. This new Japanese maple cultivar is truly something to behold. We expect 'Koyuki' to reach 8-10 ft in 15 years. Protection from the hot afternoon sun is recommend for best display of variegation.Ā
