'Mimaye' is a dwarf to medium sized Japanese maple with tiny little more rounded leaves that unfurl slowing the spring giving a unique cupping appearance. The habit is extremely dense reaching 6-8 ft in height in 15 years. Fall color on 'Mimaye' is typically bright fiery red to bold maroon.
