'Murakumo' is a gorgeous selection of Acer palmatum from Japan. The green foliage is covered in white spotted variegation. During the summer ‘Murakumo’ turns more green. Fall color is typically bright orange to red. 'Murakumo', sometimes spelled "Marakumo", translates as "gathering of clouds". 'Murakumo' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years. Give ‘Murakumo’ protection from the hot afternoon sun as to not burn the spring variegated leaves.
