Acer palmatum 'Okagami' Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum 'Okagami'

Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Okagami' is a robust, vertically inclined deciduous tree, that exhibits vigorous growth. During spring, it unveils large, star-shaped leaves that start off purple-red, gradually darkening to a deep purple-black hue in summer, and finally turning scarlet in fall. Its name, translating to "large mirror" in Japanese, reflects its striking appearance. 'Okagami' thrives in sun or partial shade, particularly in well-drained soil. Typically reaching a height of 10 feet and a width of 6 feet within a decade, it withstands temperatures as low as -20 degrees.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
