'Orange Flame' is a beautiful Japanese maple. It leafs out in the spring with a heavily divided green leaf rich bronze overtones. As spring progresses, green is the primary color displayed which continues throughout the summer. In autumn, 'Orange Flame" brightens the landscape when it turns a mirage of orange with yellow highlights. 'Orange Flame' is considered one of the best Japanese maples for fall color. 'Orange Flame' was selected by our friend, Scott Mallory, as a chance seedling.
