Some wonder whether this tree is a linearilobum style or a full large leaf. It is somewhere in between. The leaf of 'Peve Dave' has a glossy appearance to the leaf making this red upright Japanese maple a showy tree for the garden. 'Peve Dave' may reach 8 ft in height in 10 years. Fall color is typically a brighter red.
