'Red Wood' is a coral bark selection that was found by Ed Wood and introduced by Talon Buchholz. The leaves a bright green in the spring and yellow in the fall. As the name states, this tree is known for it's bright red new growth in the winter. The bark on 'Red Wood' may show its bright red bark on even older 3-4 year old wood at times. 'Red Wood' may reach 12-15 ft in 20 years.Ā
