'Tokyo yatsubusa' is small green Japanese maple with a nice-rounded form that is vigorous at a young age. This selection has extremely small foliage, and even smaller foliage on the secondary growth. 'Tokyo yatsubusa' could be compared with 'Saiho', however the growth habit is a little more outward on 'Tokyo yatsubusa' reaching 3 ft in height by 4.5 ft in width in 10 years. Fall color on 'Tokyo yatsubusa' is a bright fiery red. This dwarf maple is easy to care for and grows quickly, so you can enjoy its beautiful foliage and vibrant fall colors right away.
