'Torchlight' is an upright red Japanese maple with a bright spring color, maroon summer color, and a bright orange to red fall color. By this name, the color is said to be bright enough to light up the night. I don' t think it will do this, but it will definitely brighten up your day with some great red color in the garden. 'Torchlight' may reach 10-12 ft in 15 years.
