‘Villa Taranto’ is an upright linearilobum Japanese maple selection. This Japanese maple tree has a multi-color effect with older growth showing up green behind mauve red new growth. The leaves are very thin and long and mimic that of bamboo. In autumn, the leaves of 'Villa Taranto' turn to bright yellow to orange. ‘Villa Taranto’ is named for the garden in Italy in which it was found. This Japanese maple tree can get up to 6-8 ft in 10 years with an upright V shape that is quite unique. The unique colors and leaf shape make ‘Villa Taranto’ a very exotic addition.
