'Select' is a unique selection of Acer pseudosieboldianum with excellent fall color of bright oranges to reds. 'Select' was selected from Acer pseudosieboldianum ssp. pseudosieboldianum because of its tight narrow habit. 'Select' can reach 10-12 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 15 years. Acer pseudosieboldianum is an excelent Japanese maple for cold zones as it can thrive in much colder winter conditions than the typical Acer palmatum.
