'Red Wing' develops seeds as it ages and by late summer to early fall the seeds are a bright red with contrast so nicely with the leaves. This is where 'Red Wing' gets its name. Fall colors range from orange to red on 'Red Wing'. 'Red Wing' may reach 6-8 ft in 10 years. Make sure to give 'Red Wing' protection from the hot afternoon sun for best growth.
