'Augie's Red’ is an azalea that makes a statement in the landscape and garden. The blooms are quite large with good deep red color and an orange blotch. This makes ‘Augie’s Red’ appear brighter. ‘Augie’s Red’ may reach 6 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. ‘Augie’s Red’ is a selection from Dr. Augie Kehr’s garden that many in the Azalea Society admired. ‘Augie's Red' is pretty rare and pretty too.
