‘Dancing Rabbit' is another showy hybrid native azalea by Dr. Eugene Aromi.  Flower buds on the trusses are more orange, while the blooms are often more yellow to yellow-orange. While 'Dancing Rabbit' is not a full blooded native, it definitely is noted for its fragrance and blooms. 'Dancing Rabbit' was a hybrid between Rhododendron 'Appalachian Gold' x Rhododendron 'Goldstrike'. 'Dancing Rabbit' may reach 6 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. Give 'Dancing Rabbit' good drainage and a more acidic and organic type soil.
