'Delaware Valley', also known as 'Delaware Valley White' is a classic selection of a Rhododendron mucronatum. Rhododendron mucronatum is a cold tolerant species of azalea native to higher altitudes in China. 'Delaware Valley White' is a selection from this species that has been used in Japanese gardening for hundreds of years under the name Rhododendron ledifolia for its prolific white blooms and it's dense compact habit. 'Delaware Valley White' may reach 4 ft in height and width in 10 years.
