Kelly Strickland created a collection of the best native selections of azaleas. ‘N.E. Smith Nursery Red’ is believed to be a red Oconee azalea that Kelly received from N.E. Smith Nursery. The blooms are a nice coral red color. ‘N.E. Smith Nursery Red’ may reach 4 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years. Make sure to give ‘N.E. Smith Nursery Red’ good drainage and plenty of organic matter when planting.
