'Pierce Whiddon’ is a beautiful selection of orange-peach flowering native azaleas. This soft orange color gives ‘Piece Whiddon’ a unique color in the garden. ‘Pierce Whiddon’ may get 6 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. Make sure to give ‘Pierce Whiddon’ good drainage and highly organic acidic soil for the best establishment, growth rate, and blooms. ‘Pierce Whiddon’ is credited to being introduced by famous native azalea enthusiast Kelly Strickland.
