'Honeycomb' was found by chance when Dr. Michael Dirr was trying to obtain a cultivar from Scotland. It turned out that this yellow butterfly surpassed and outperformed any other yellow selections. 'Honeycomb' will reach 6-7 ft in height and width, starting to bloom in mid-June and continuing until the leaves begin to drop in the fall. 'Honeycomb' is an excellent yellow flowering butterfly bush that provides a great food source for hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Another positive is that 'Honeycomb' is deer resistant! Give 'Honeycomb' plenty of sun so that this yellow flowering shrub will shine.
