Calycanthus floridus ‘Athens’ is a green flowering sweet shrub selection found and introduced by Dr. Michael Dirr. The green flowers are extremely scented and can be sweetly fragrant from a distance. ‘Athens’ may get 5-6 ft in height and width in 10 years.
