Camellia x 'Survivor' Cold Hardy Zone 6 White Flowering Camellia
Camellia x 'Survivor'
White Fall Flowering 'Survivor' Hardy Camellia
Zones 6-10b
Part Shade
'Survivor', like the name suggests, is one of the most cold hardy selections of camellia. This white blooming selection was a hybrid of Camellia sasanqua 'Narumi-gata' and Camellia oleifera introduced by the famed Clifford Parks. In a freak cold snap of -9 degrees Fahrenheit, this camellia survived, and acquired its name. 'Survivor' is a white fall blooming camellia that can really push the limits on camellia. In autumn, this camellia is coated in white blooms that may have a hint of pink towards the end of some of the flower petals. If you live in zone 6 or a marginal zone 7, this is an excellent cold hardy camellia for your garden.
Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of woody ornamentals, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the woody ornamentals you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
