Carpinus betulus 'Follis Argentovariegata Pendula' is a rare variegated European Hornbeam with a spreading habit. The splashed creamy variegation is spectacular. The habit is not cascading or pendulous as the name might suggest, but it does develop lateral spreading branches that makes this European Hornbeam wider than tall. In 15 years, I would expect 'Follis Argentovariegata Pendula' to reach 10-12 ft in height by 15 ft in width.
