Cedrus atlantica 'Aurea' is one of the most golden of all the atlas cedars. ‘Aurea’ develops a main leader, making a broad conical shape. I do recommend staking a leader until it develops. The yellow color on this atlas cedar makes a great pairing with a blue atlas cedar or any red Japanese maple. Cedrus atlantica ‘Aurea' may reach 7-8 ft in height in 10 years by 5-6ft in width.
