While most redbuds have red flowers, ‘Alba' is a white heavily blooming selection of Chinese redbud with a multi-stemmed habit that is quite attractive. The blooms cover the branches before the leaves. The green heart-shaped leaves give a great display through the rest of the season. ‘Alba’ may reach reach 10 ft in height by 6 ft in width in 10 years.
