Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Vintage Gold', also known as Vintage Gold Sawara Cypress, is a dwarf evergreen conifer valued for its bright golden foliage and compact, mounding form. The fine-textured, golden-yellow foliage retains its color year-round, providing striking contrast in the landscape. Its dense, mounded shape makes it an excellent choice for small gardens or as a low-maintenance focal point. Over 10 years, it typically reaches 6-8 ft in height. While it thrives in full sun for the best color, it can tolerate partial shade.
